Who loves the new sandcastle design as much as I do!! It's so much fun with all the ways they change the castle. From winter to summer, never ceases to amaze me.

The castle projections are a lot of fun to watch. Looking forward to seeing if they do a Halloween over-lay for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in October - that could be VERY cool!

I bet they will! It seems the MNSS party is getting more popular, people are already buzzing about it on social networking sites. Its definitely one of my fav times to be at the park. I cant wait to see what projections they come up with!

After 20 months, September will be the last showing of Magic, Memories and You at the Magic Kingdom. It is anticipated that sometime in November Celebrate the Magic will start running. Rumored to have bits of MMY but with new music and storytelling along with a different special effects being added.

Disneyland will be dumping their projection show which is projected on the SM altogether.

According to things I've read, Celebrate The Magic is supposed to be more of a story. A la Wishes. (saw the press release on WDWNT about a week ago)

The only true change I've seen mentioned is that will be dropping the photos, and adding an actual storyline.

Sounds interesting, IMO. Can't wait to see it in December.

I saw it in April and I was actually impressed with the show overall. Considering I was not onboard with the announcement a few years ago that was a leap for me. But the daily importing of new photos had to be a pain.

The problem I always heard was that you couldn't really see them anyway. So, if they put your picture up there, you'd probably never even know it.

I always wondered if I made it on, but since we tend to park hop a lot, we've only had a couple chances to see the show after a day in MK. I am glad they're keeping a similar format. I love watching the castle transform into a spaceship and zoom off or into a stack of suitcases. Can't wait to see what they think up next!

But the daily importing of new photos had to be a pain.

I've seen the show about 10 times, since it came out while I was on my CP, and I don't think they really kept up with the importing of new pictures....at least not that I could tell. They may have swapped out some of the small ones...can't really tell since they are hard to see. But the larger photos that they featured were the same each time I saw it. Even when I saw the holiday version this past January, many of the photos were the same as in the regular version.

Now I just got to see the summer version of the show this past week, and it looks like some of the photos have finally been changed.

Hope the new show will be just as great. I really love MM&Y and am impressed with what they did with it. Wasn't expecting to be such a fan of it.

Oh wow! That wasn't exactly how it was sold in the announcement. But really, how many guests would have figured that out?

I didn't, that's for sure. To hear they weren't switching pictures makes me glad they're switching to a format without them; it seems more honest!
