True. It is amazing how quickly a thread becomes trashed. The problem is when anyone starts parsing apart a post acting like a want-a-be attorney for any little loop hole to twist it around and then take great liberties with exaggerations it does tank the discussion.

What's worse is somebody making a clumsy statement and then apologizing because you misunderstood them.

It makes for a wonderful avenue to amends.
