But you're right on the money. It's not good unless the movie was originally shot with the intent. Unless it's an animated movie, which they can do all kinds of neat things with.
Wreck It Ralph is one of the newer 3D movies I've seen and it was outstanding. The 3D itself was never really in your face. It simply provided an amazing depth of field.

I don't know if they are actually being considered, or those were just examples being used by a "source" as to why so many possibilities are being batted around - they haven't actually decided on anything other than who is writing them. They're likely going to concentrate on making a whole new "universe" so they can try to create a cohesive series of sequels. Not just a single movie.
