I haven't seen the refurb yet....but I agree that IMNSHO Disneyland's version of IASW is better.

I wish Magic Kingdom would build a clock tower facade for IASW! That would be a great "outside" refurb!

They did....that was part of their refurbishment. It's just that it is not "outside" it is underneath the covered section by the line que. They had to do it this way because of the Florida weather and frequent rain showers apparently.

I personally hate Small World. Once around per decade is more than enough!

What's wrong with you!?! Everyone should love IASW. It's one of the best rides ever. And don't forget it was one of Walt's personal creations. I bet he'd be hurt if he knew how you felt.

Firstly, welcome to the boards! Always great to see new people.

Secondly, I hate it! That song! Aaaahhhh!
To be honest, I don't think Walt would mind. He's got enough on his plate trying to work out how to survive at sub-zero temperatures...

I know most people find the song annoying and it drives them crazy, but I like it. I actually have it as a ringtone on my cell phone.

I really like the new look of the updated small world looking similar to DL. But did anyone else notice that there is cut out areas where it looks like something would pop out at a certain time on the clock, like at the hour or something... I've waited to see something happen, but to no avail. Anybody know if it something or just a cut out so they can do maintenance on it?

Me too. I was actually looking for him and was a little dissapointed to see him gone but I like the how they remade it more like Disneylands with the clock and all. I remember seeing pictures of that thinking "Why can't Disneyworld's look like that?" and now it does.
