    The walls got bigger and bigger over the past week. When we were there on Thurs, the walls only went to the sidewalk. Spectromagic still went around the hub in front of the train station. By yesterday, half of the hub was behind a wall and Spectro was going to go in front of the hub and up the street instead of around it. Also, Liberty Belle Riverboat and the Sci-Fi restaurant were closed too.

    I'm sorry, but I still love how we term it as a 'rehab' in the themepark world and not 'refurbishment'. I just have this image in my head of an entire attraction sitting in the gutter drunk....

    Refurbishment of the Main Street Station is scheduled to run through December 20. Among other things, stroller rental is being relocated to the current locker area, and the lockers will be relocated elsewhere. This is a security precaution since a bomb detonation under the train station would not only wreck the building, but block the main exit from the park.

    I guess I will have to wait until my next trip to get some good picture of this. Another reason to plan another trip-what will my DH think! Maybe I will just have to bat my eyes a little more and say "Please!"

    This makes me very sad. I'm going to WDW this week and I wanted everything to look perfect. Oh well, at least it's not Pooh's Playful Spot, right?
    My wonderful Disney mom and I want to live in Disney World, or at least really close to it.

    I can't wait to be at Disney World!!!!

    Ah, but on the lagoon side, they have painted a facade of the station on the scaffolding tarps - at first glance in the evening, you don't even realize that what you're looking at is a drawing! Only Disney...
    Please move as far to the end of the row as possible. Stopping in the middle is distinctly unpatriotic!
