Sounds cool... can't wait to see the pics.
First, don't go into a panic when you read that title, nothing major is changing with SE.
I have been scouting out places this past week to watch Illuminations on the 4th. A couple of days prior to as well as on the 4th they changed the look of SE after Illuminations. Using projectors they put images on the backside of SE (facing the lagoon). They were done to a musical USA score. Very well done and the images looked incredible when exiting from the park. I wish they would do this all the time with pictures about/from the countries in the WS.
I am dnloading the pics now and will post them soon. All the images displayed were well known American Icons such as the Grand Canyon, Liberty, American Flag, Golden Gate Bridge, etc.
The finale of Illuminations was incredible as well. Fireworks were shot from the American Adventure. The Grand grand grand finale moved the earth below you for about a minute.
Sounds cool... can't wait to see the pics.
They are up in the Epcot Gallery
Here is the view from across the lagoon in Japan:

The rest are closer to SE.
Enjoy,
Awesome. Were the images still, or did they have motion (like the American Flag)? How did they transition from one to another?
Absolutely beautiful.

the pictures are great- thanks for putting them up on the site
They were still images that lasted about 10 sec or so each. Then just faded to the next. They had two seperate music scores to go with them. I was there till about 11:30 last night taking pics of them. I did take some video of it as well and can post if you all want me to. The quality is not as good as those pics but you may get a better idea of what they did.
Jason... amazing pictures!!! (Love the American flag one!!) Excellent night shots, too! What type of camera, etc. did you use (quality is excellent! Plus, no motion, etc.)?
If you want me to post the video in the Doanloads section, PM me and we'll set that up!!
Thanks again!!![]()

I have a Sony Mavica CD 250 and just got a CD 500 last week. Those were taken with the 500. The pics are about 25-50% of the original size depending on the distance I was at.
From what I hear - the projectors they used for those images are the same ones they will be using to project the different looks on the castle in Disneyland for the 50th celebration.
BTW- great pics!

To be conscious that you are ignorant is a great step to knowledge.
