    Buzz is open!

I just came back from my trip yesterday

Anyway, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin was supposed to be under rehab until this Wednesday (2/8), but it was up and running over the weekend of 2/3. It was a pleasant surprise, it is one of my daughter's favorite rides.

Contrary to rumors I've heard, the rehab didn not involve replacing the guns with the Disneyland-type removable ones. There are a few noticiable changes, but I'll let you discover them!

Test Track, unfortunately, remained closed during my visit.

    Rehab

Well, the show building, the queue, and the fastpass distribution area remained unchanged. The AA Buzz in the lobby looked the same and gave the usual spiel.
The wall at the loading area (with all the Buzz images) looked to be freshly painted and was glowing brightly. There are a few new targets scattered about. Honestly, I'll have to review my old viideos to see what exactly is different about the rooms. You'd think that I knew the ride by heart at this point...

Whatever rehab that was done must have been to the mechanics of the ride, because many of the cars were scuffed-up and, well, rather dirty. Maybe they rushed it back into service because the crowds at the MK were unusually large this past weekend. Anyway, I was happy to see it!

Nothing was done in the attraction except tweaking the ride system itself, moving the ride console to the other side of the load station and replacing the queue floors.
