Disney sees outlays for parks down, attendance up

Attendance at Walt Disney Co.'s (DIS) theme parks is improving and the company intends to limit investment in the destinations to improve profitability, the president of its parks and resorts division said on Thursday

This is ok for the florida destination (as we have more rides currently in the queue) - but what about California Adventure, or tomorrowland in DL? Both of which are severly lacking when compared to the Orlando resort.

What worries me is the comment about Comcast perhaps not being interested in keeping long-term ownership of the parks. I've seen this in several articles. The parks and Disney are so intertwined, I worry about their long term viability if they were sold.

One more reason to hope that the Comacast bid fails....
