I think I heard a rumor on Inside the Magic this week that they'll be making more like the movie theming on the entrance. If this is true, I think it means that Peg-leg Pete will be gone.

Pete's been gone for a few weeks now. I noticed he was gone when I stopped by for a look on March 18th. So unless they just took him down to give him a bird-wash and fluff up his feathers a bit and are planning on re-perching him, I would say Pete's pretty much up and flown the coup.

This is obviously an anti-pirate ninja conspiracy.

If there's no Pete when I'm there in September, I may just have to leave some kind of memorial in his spot. I'm thinking a rum bottle stuffed with birdseed would be respectful.
