Well for those not watching or living it: As expected, WDW closed Sunday as well. No word on Monday yet. The 70 mile wide eye is expected to pass the area 6a-10a(ish) Sunday morning. Apx 2.1M without power.

Currently running in generator, just got cable back, quick update, WDW is scheduled to open tomorrow. No exact opening time has been given.

MGM and AK open Tuesday

Breaking News

The Disney-MGM Studios and DAK will NOT open on Monday, as previously reported on TV!

Although my little "bluebird" did not say there was any specific damage there, they will remain closed the entire day.

They are also trakcing (ugh) Ivan to see what he's up to. Stay tuned!

CRUISE UPDATE!

Disney Cruise Line:

Given the lengthy, extended duration of the storm, damage assessments which need
to occur, the disruption in air travel and ocean wave conditions through Sept.
6,
Disney Cruise Line has made the following decisions:
The Disney Magic five-day cruise scheduled to depart Monday, Sept. 6 will be
pushed to Tuesday, Sept. 7. This will now be a four-day cruise returning on
Saturday (this cruise was originally a seven-day cut to five-days).
The Disney Wonder three-day cruise (originally a four-day) scheduled to depart
Monday, Sept. 6 in the evening has been cancelled. Guests who were scheduled to
sail on this cruise will be given the opportunity to transfer over to the Disney
Magic.

I got that from my cruise list. Originally the ships were to dock today and take on new passengers with modified 5 night and 3 night cruises. Now the Wonder cruise for this week was cancelled altogether. Also the Magic was redirected to Galveston, TX and some passengers disembarked from their cruise thre instead of returning to Port Canaveral.

Not sure how Disney's Castaway Cay and Disney's Vero Beach resorts made out yet...

Ummmm I mentioned that a few posts above. The parks opened at 10am The only change I know of is that Typhoon did not open due to the bad weather.

No problem. I think a couple of poepl missed it. I was starting to wonder if I just had posted it in a dream. These 2hrs of max sleeping are getting to me as well. The wind last night was awful. It was the worst of the three days.
