October 4th I am pretty sure it will be on most ABC affilate stations. I was working last week and they had camera crews and Bob, Al and Phil...sorry, Bob Igor (President of Walt Disney Company), Al Weiss (Global Operations), Phil Holmes (Vice President of Magic Kingdom Park, were all in the park VERY DRESSED up and there was a podium on Main Street, U.S.A. I think that this wasa the taping of the speech that will air on Wednesday. Public Relations has not given me an answer as to what is happening on Wednesday except for the fact that we will be welcoming the "First Family" (not POTUS) to the Magic Kingdom. I hope this helps a little.

I don't think so, because there was supposed to be a new dvc announced, and it isn't up on allears, here, or when you search on google.com/news

Yeah I checked google news and nothing. Maybe the announcement was jus the family on GMA?
