GMA at WDW

Ok so today we officially kicked off our Year of a Million Dreams and the Spangler Family was the first family to receive the keys to the kindgom. SO my question is...did anyone see the video of their welcome?!?! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! The entire park was deserted and then Kingdom Trumpeters started playing followed by a SHOCK treatment....hundreds of cast members RUNNING into the street. The son was almost taken out by Mickey....IT WAS AWESOME. Goes to show that this is going to be a VERY exciting time to visit Walt Disney World.

I watch the Today Show so I missed it

Wish I would have known about it. Paul, I just read this post to Rich over the phone and he said if he would have known he would have been there this morning. Hopefully a clip will be shown on one of the Entertainment shows or show up online somewhere.

I JUST made it today after coming home from the mechanic..I taped GMA just in case. I'll sell it to the highest bidder...

Wow... that lucky family. I wish I would have seen GMA... but I was sleeping, hehe. I'm so sad that I have to wait until May to go to WDW again

It would be cool to win and it would be exciting to experience the thrill when everyone comes onto Main Street, but after that wore off....I have to admit, it would be a bit creepy to be in the parks with no one around. To me, that's part of the experience.

you know what it reminded me of....the reaction people give on Extreme Home Makeover....that is what I was trying to say this morning. It was very cool and I still have goosebumps. As for being in the park for this...couldn't have happened. it was only the family and then the cast members

Note the need for a picture. Anyone besides me find this suspicious? It's been a fear of mine from the beginning that only people that fit the target demographic will win the "big" prizes that require being on TV or in front of the public.

Anyone notice the winning family....nice looking family of 4 with one boy, one girl.

Childless families, single people, large families, the elderly or the unattractive need not apply.

I finally found a bonus for getting US tv programs 12 hours after the fact; I'm just getting today's GMA program now. Thanks for giving me a heads-up.
