Maybe it's the Old Timers, but how exactly does this work? Do they take your initial pic and then give you a card you display and follow you around all day taking candids, or do you approach any photog and ask him and her to take another posed pic at every attraction or every land? I can imagine these photogs pestering guests and/or getting in the way as I am certain they probably get commission too. Sorry, but I hate pushy salespeople.

From what we saw was when your by a good picture spot ( Castle, Tree of Life, Spacesip Earth) they will take your picture. If it's your first picture they will swipe a card. And every park you go to, you can get a picture at those spots and give them your card from the first time and you can then view and order thme direct from online within 30 days. Pretty cool idea.
    Thanks Bob!!!!!!! LV Tour 2005

I do the same thing for people at WDW, but I use their camera and it's free, if not good. I most like to take pics of foreign couples/families, since for most it will be a one-time visit. I can speak a few words in several languages and I love how their faces light up when I volunteer to take their pic.

I loved it this year when people offered to take shots of the 2 of us !! The ones that others took for us turned out better than the one the Disney folks took for us

There will be a bunch more changes in the next 6 months with all the photo stuff. Disney will be taking over most of the Kodak stuff. Right now at Epcot they are trying to put a photographer with every single character on top of what they normally do.

The PhotoPasses are great. Make sure to get one during your trip. Nice to have if they catch something you don't. You can view the thumbnails online at home (and save them), order, add your photos, etc as already mentioned.

Can't wait to get a card. If nothing else, it will make a great collectable.

What have you done so far that you cannot view them?

Here are the instructions are on the Photopass itself:

    1. Use this pass to get lots of photos taken by Disney's Photopass Photographers in all four of our Theme Parks.

    2. Go to www.DisneyPhotoPass.com and enter the unique I.D. number below.

    3. View and share your photos for no charge and purchase your favorite prints. Online registration is required.
The unique I.D. is on your card.

They don't lose them, Disney just didn't like something in, on, or about them and they disappeared like magic.

They lost them...the apologized. It was an error with the reader on the guys camera. At least they went well out of their way to look for them.

It's too bad...cause they were going to be really cool pics of us at RnR.

My photo pass id card has someone else's picures on them. A man and his daughter are in the middle of all our other shots. Then some appear to be missing after that point. They also didn't have photographers where they used to be. (eith most of the characters June 24-July 2, 2005) . Photos are still VERY expensive.
