Then talk about it! We'd LOVE to hear EVERY detail and pictures you have of that night!!
Since I never win anything, I will just have to live vicariously through the people who do.

Castle Suite
OK. It started with my 7 year old being picked when he stepped off Test Track with his Grammy. After filling out some paperwork in the office inside Test Track (didn't know that was there. really cool) wewent home to pack an overnight bag. The Castle Concierge picked us up at our hotel and took us to the Magic Kingdom. We had a quick photo shoot and then went to be Grand Marshalls in the parade. It was so fun. Everyone was yelling my son, Noah's name. We had a special viewing area to watch the rest of the parade. After that we had escorts take us on Dumbo and the Teacups while we waited for the Castle Suite to be ready. Then up we went in the private elevator. Words cannot describe the suite. It was elegant and regal and they thought of every detail. 24 carat gold mosaics in the tub area, small painting of Cinderella in every nook and cranny, a telescope to look out on to the park, a magic mirror that turned into a tv, every Disney DVD imaginable (not that we had down time to watch them), a phone to call anywhere in the world and a 24 hour concierge, and a stocked fridge (no alcohol, it is still the Magic Kingdom). We were allowed to bring the rest of our family (6 extra people) up to see the suite. After soaking in the magic and taking a few minutes to absorb everything, we went downstairs for dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. The fairy Godmother annouced us. After dinner we had 2 escorts to take us on rides with waiting on lines. Our magical night ended with the firewirks and then back up to the suite. Out kids were asleep in minutes and my husband abd I stayed up like two little kids still in shock from the day we had just had. In the moring we ended our adventure with breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Winnie-the-Pooh and friends. We were even given 3 fast passes for the next day because my son didn't get to go on Splash Mountain the night before. The people were all so amazing and I still can't believe we won. Before we left it was all my son talked about. I kept telling him not think about the castle because the odds were ridiculous and I didn't want him to be disappointed. He proved me wrong. It truly pays to have faith in your dreams.
I'd be happy to send pictures but I am not sure how. Any advice?
Thanks for letting me talk about! It is my favorite topic (:

Did you take any pictures inside the suite?

Pictures
I have pictures of just about every inch on the inside, including the glass slipper. When we returned from dinner there was a white chocolate coach and horses in our room. I have a bunch of pictures of that too.

I'd love to see the pictures!! Although I'm not sure how to post them...
I do think you need to have a certain number of posts (like 10 or something) in order to post pictures though.
Oh yeah, and
to the forums!

That's fantastic! Thanks for posting here and telling us about your amazing day. I'm sure kids never get the true picture of how amazing this event is. Congratulations!

Congratulations! It's nice to hear that they aren't just picking families with little girls to win this prize. Nothing against little girls, because I AM one, but I have two little boys who would certainly enjoy this prize, too.
It sounds like you just have to be in the right place at the right time, huh? Another huge congratulations to you and your family!!!

Especially for those big prizes, it's completely random. The Dream Team usually gets a slip of paper with something like Splash Mountain, front row left seat, 11:36 AM (computer generated randomized process) and they go from there.

That's awsome. I wish I could get that room for my family.
I'm going to Disney this christmas so it's gonna be my last change.
I wonder what they are going to do with the room once the year of a million dreams ends. I know I definetly couldn't afford it

Ever since hearing about this suite, I've been aching to stay there. I've never won anything during the Year of a Million Dreams, and without kids or a larger vacationing party, don't think I have a chance of winning the suite. If it ever becomes available for a reservation, I don't care the cost or the waiting list, I just have to get in there!!
-
Of course I'd love to stay there, but at this point I'd be happy with just a walk through.
