New ride rumors

I know about Toy Story Mania,alot of refurbs to attractions,and the water raft ride in Canada,EPCOT.

I hope they replace pooh's play place with some themed water ride. themes such as Finding Nemo,20K leagues under the sea(modified),or (as much as I hate to say it)Little Mermaid. Not some silly play place for little kids.

The water raft ride is just that-- a rumor. It's been a rumor forevah!

Talk is going again of a ride between Pirates and Splash.But again as before,that is not the only location in the park it has been rumored to be going.Of course also the names that have been mentioned for it have changed one time is was Villians Mountain now its Fire Mountain. Another new one is that the Speedway will have the gas powered cars replaced with electric ones.

Even though Spaceship Earth just "recently" was changed, I heard that after Seimens picked up the sponser, they were going to change the ride into someting faster. The contract is for 12 years. Hopefully we'll see something soon from them.

The river raft ride at EPCOT is rumored to be themed into Brother Bear but of course it is just a rumor. Another rumor is that Raging Spirits from Tokyo Disneyland will be cloned for the Magic Kingdom & it will be located next to Pirates & Splash. The part about Pooh's Playful Spot, I heard that there will be a Mermaid Lagoon to replace it.

I would love to see more themed rides, but in defense of the 100 Acre Woods, my three year old is still talking about getting to see Pooh's house and sit in his chair 6 months after our last visit. The tiny ones should have some space, and Pooh's area is nice. It does seem out of place though. I've heard the Nemo rumor too.

Even though I have a srtong dislike for PPS, I agree. The nuggets(little ones) need somewhere to run off their Mickey bars and Itsakadoozie's. That way, they'll sleep GOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Pooh's Playful Spot took place of 20,000. They completely paved that in and sealed up the lagoon, so there won't be a water ride there anytime in the future. I was talking with some CMs and Imagineers when they were doing it and they said they hope to put another "fantasyland themed" attraction there such as Alice or something unique that they don't have anywhere else. Basically there is room for 2-3 more "Snow White" or "Peter Pan" type attractions. They said thats the plan for the future sometime, but no clue when.

How about Pinocchios Daring Adventure (I think thats what its called) I've always wanted to go on it, but have never been to disneyland. I would also love to see the Little Mermaid ride featured on the dvd. More Fantasyland dark rides are the way to go!
