So all the pavilions were designed by the countries themselves with people from their own countries helping with construction!
Exactly! Check out the Imagineering Guide to Epcot. It tells about how amazingly acurate the details are because many pavilions were built by people from that country. My favorites are China (page 87), and Morocco (page108), for which King Hassan II sent his finest craftsman to work on the carved stone and tile work. See why I want to work with these people?

Wait, now that I reread your comment, it sounds like you're saying that Imagineers had nothing to do with the design of each pavilion. They didn't just say, "Here do whatever you want." The designs were a collaboration, the construction was a collaboration. Were you trying to say I have no hope of ever designing a World Showcase pavilion?

I'm not saying that, I'm saying that the design was mostly left up to the countries as they were the people putting up the money for it. The Imagineers helped along the way. All that I am saying is that the country picks what is in each pavilion and they have control over the majority of it. The Imagineers helped so there is a chance, but the country backs and decides most of it.

I would love an Australian section, and I'd gladly take it in AK or Epcot.

I do like the idea of South America being represented in the World Showcase. That would be cool!!

Nothing against Nemo, I love the little guy, but I don't want to see him in the WS too!
I like the idea of him in the Seas but yeah, WS would be too much. Nemo has his place and he should stick to that
