Malestrom-PoTC 3

HEy I just saw PoTC this afternoon, and as I was watching the Malestrom scene, I started wondering, ( not sure if this has been discussed already or not) I know that the Malestrom ride is under renovation, I was wondering if it is going to include a PoTC refernce in the newly refurbed ride?

I saw it too when they said that the storm was a malestrom, I was wondering if they might put that into the ride. I hope they don't though. I'm sick of them changing the rides to be like the movies.

I know PotC generates a lot of money and attention, but there are other things to create a ride about. Leave Pirates at the Magic Kingdom.

I was about to say that it would be unlikely that POTC would be added to Maelstrom, but the three caballeros were added to Mexico, so who knows. I still think it would be way off base. After all, POTC is after all IN the Caribbean, not Norway.

There is no way Pirates are going to be added to Norway.

In POTC3, the term used is maelstrom...another name for a large, violent whirlpool. In Norway, Maelstrom (note the capitol) is the name of a famous whirlpool off of the coast.

Before they do anything like that, I still say the Japan sector needs to open Ninjas of The Carribean.

Finally someone who is in agreement about Ninjas needing to get some spotlight time. With all the Pirates attention....having Ninjas would rule...but instead of Caribbean...let's call it Ninjas Of The Orient and wait for the merchandising grosses to roll in.

I agree with you i have not seen AWE yet but i don't think that scene should go in the malestrom attraction. The ride would be good without it.

I just went on Maelstrom last week the day it opened from its rehab and didnt see any references to Pirates of the Caribbean...

Well if you get your Ninjas of the Caribbean, then my daughter will want the dolls in Small World to start singing, "Yo Ho Yo Ho a pirates life for me." lol
