I always thought Disney's room rate policies were sort of odd. Odd, in a beneficial way to the visitor though. Aside from WDW, I really like to go to Las Vegas and in Vegas, weekends cost more and so do dates that fall around holidays or during peak seasons. So, when learning about Disney, I thought, hey, they really do things in an odd way down here. First off, to get a value season rate just because you check in during a value season and then check out at peak season, is really unheard of anywhere else in the industry. If you check into a hotel or resort in Las Vegas or Hawaii on a Wednesday and stay through the weekend, you are charged accordingly. More on the weekend and less on Wed. and Thurs.

This will probably have an effect on the weekends in WDW. It could make weekends a little more bearable in terms of park attendance on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend rates will be higher and it could discourage those weekend warriors from Florida. I would have to think this will affect all those people out there who design touring plans as well.

Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America...with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.”
