They're really moving it on getting the wand down. What maybe a week and the supports will be down? As fast as they've been getting this project done, I wouldn't be surprised. I wish they guys working on this were building the new building at my college, we might actually get to move in this semester then.

I've heard that it should all be done and cleaned up near the beginning of September. That is a few weeks away, so hopefully it will be mostly done by then!

I wish all the guys on the wand would head over to Teppan Edo and get the restaurant done quicker.

Then Yak and Yeti, both keep having their dates changed for opening!

I have to say the wall & tarps around the Japanese pavillion is very sad.

The Chinese pavillion was like this on my last trip and the Asian architecture is my favorite...I hate to see it covered up.

The walls are all over the place, the tarps are at the Japanese pavilion mostly in the back (and around the side, where the store is). The Chinese pavilion has had a tarp over it for a long time, I don't know that it has changed lately.

Hopefully the Japan rehab won't take so long!

NOOOOO!. They have my favorite little interactive fountain blocked off. I hope it is back up and running in 3 weeks. I need to take my DD's pic there again. (it's a picture "spot" thing.) Plus that thing is positioned just right where it is hot and shadeless to cool off.

The fountain has been blocked off for a couple of weeks or so. I didn't know if anyone would care enough last week if I took a photo (and there were so many other walls there!) But when I saw it from the monorail, I took a photo. It looks more interesting than just a walll, but doesn't show what they are doing. They may be just cleaning it.
