I completely disagree...the timeless quality of Disney is what sets it apart from other parks. I think additions to keep up with the times are great...and there are plenty of underdeveloped areas (like, say, the whole of MGM) but taking away classic attractions and replacing them with fads would be a real shame. Disney World in general and MK in particular are more than just "theme parks" they are cultural icons..and more importantly, a huge part of the childhood memories of millions

I think its ok that they do some new things w/ Priates, but change a whole land...thats a little too much. Just remember..."I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."

Now Indiana Jones Land I could get in to...just cause I am a HUGE fan of the Indy trilogy and would have to side with the Ninja's regarding PoTC But all joking aside

    New Rides =

    Replacing/ changing classic rides =

If they get rid of Adventureland, I can't imagine how angry I will be! I will be mad if they have a whole nother park called "Pirate Land" too. They are putting the pirates stuff out there wayyy too much. They should just stop now. I love pirates, don't get me wrong. But seriously, come on. Just stop. Don't replace anything. Just keeps Pirates of the Caribbean and I'm happy.
    Love, Kerri

Well Disney has been able to turn the Princess line into a hugely profitable market. I'm sure their take on it is they are leaving almost 50% of their targeted fan base (kids and teens who happen to be male) in the cold. Pirates makes sense. Plus there's something for us dads too like Pirate Ladies!!!! I too hope they don't go overboard but change is inevitable.
