Aventureland to become Pirateland?

I like pirates, but I'd hate to see the albino pygmy have to wear a khaki pirate outfit.

Eye patches and always speaking with a really bad pirate accent, plus all the new pirate jokes, it sounds like fun

I think that Adventureland should be left alone and (maybe like what was mentioned on a previous WDW Radio Show) redo the old River Country water park in Fort Wilderness and turn it into a type of pirate hide out. All the overgrown shrubs, "wild" areas would be fitting for a pirate lair or hideout. Maybe even incorporate a POTC/Tortuga "looking" restaurant where everyone who loves the ride and the movies could escape. Maybe even moor the Black Pearl in a man-made lagoon for a scenic, yet unapproachable, view in the bay. Other ideas --- overnight or late night kids' club with the pirate theme, adult nightclub, or even a Pirate themed camping area ???
I guess with Disney, the possibilities are endless !!!!!!!

I am against the over-pirating of Disney. But the Treehouse needs to be replaced. A walk-thur of the Black Pearl with some special effects would be nice

I think it should be kept the same. I like PoTC but, to make the whole land pirates? no way. I like the jungle cruise to be just how it is...CORNY! ..but i like it!

I would HATE to see Adventureland change to Pirateland. I like Pirates, but changing a whole land to POTC? Thats like all of Tomorrowland becoming into Stitchland or all of Fantasyland becoming Winnie The Pooh Land!!!!!

It would be a huge mistake for WDW to turn it into Pirateland. PotC, like all great phenomenas, will end soon enough and they will have destroyed a MK staple if they alter it.

I agree they should keep Adventureland, but Pirate love has been around for a time

It has, and PotC lovers have definately been a loyal group for quite some time, but PotC is a ride, and should remain so.

I think a character restaurant would be thier best bet.I loved the Pirates ride 25 years ago when I went for the first time.And I think that by the Pirate movies being just as big box office winners as the Harry Potters they cant ignore it.Maybe they could leave adventureland alone and just expand around POTC ride.

I like Pirates and restaurant would be great, but to change the entire landscape of Frontierland, that is just wrong.

I love POTC as much as the next guy, but taking Adventureland and changing it that drastically would be in my eyes a step down. I love the classics and I was sort of skeptical when the renovated POTC, even though they did a good job it was still hard to let go the ride in its not movie based sense. I'm all for the new proposed coaster though...

I would not like to see the Jungle Cruise go away, so I say Adventureland stays.
