Here I am again, drudging up old topics.
I vote for taking the arm down, and bring back the old 80's style logo!! That arm is like seeing Jesus in a tuxedo, yeah he looks nice, but that's now he's suppossed to look.
I think they are going to keep the Hat at DS, they've started to incorporate it as it's icon, as is Cinderella's castle etc....
I agree the arm should go. BTY, the Sorcerer's Hat is a long-time Disney icon. They should have used it right away at MGM-DS, but in the front. I loved the view of the Theater/Great Movie Ride in the distance as you entered. Oh well, I still have pictures to remind me what it looked like.

At one time it looked like the 2000/arm was attached to a lifting arm of a crane, which could be taken down very easily. However, it now seems the structure is much more permanent. Time will tell if it goes. I hope they get rid of it too, and leave SE alone.Originally Posted by Mandabella

with/without arm makes little differance to me, but I really dont like the "leave a Legacy" graveyard look in front of SSE bring back the fountain and clear plastic (lexan?) sculpture any day!
I have to say I am in the middle as well. I like SE without the arm but I guess I like it just as much with the arm. Of course, that makes things easier on me....I don't have to choose which I like. Although......LouCOT sounds like a wonderful place to live.
Hmmmmmm, LOUCOT-I could get used to that![]()

Loucot could have attractions like: Journey into Trivia-nation / Trivia Test Track / Wonders of trivia life. And the pavillion nations would be exact replicas of Disney themeparks from around the world.
I am in the middle also on liking the arm. I think I would like it better if they chose a different "font" for epcot

Yes Tiggerguy, But, on a humourous note, the most obvius choice for a different font these days, the current epcot logo, would dwarf Spaceship earth....Originally Posted by tiggerguy

Actually the C would be much better around SSE. LOL just kidding. Imagine seeing Epcot spelled out that large!
hmmm with floridas water table I guess the bottom of the letters would be in a lagoon....unless you Raise spaceship Earth!!
