    That hat is the park icon. I doubt very much it will come down.

    I like the hat, I just think it needs more than a pin shop under it. I like the wand too, so there!

    How about a Sorcerer Mickey meet & greet under the sorcerer's hat? There you have some of the Disney characters around outside the hat & then guests will then wait outside the hat to meet Mickey Mouse.

    They'll have to move the current Mickey greeting place then. But that would also work under the hat.

    Yup, its all gone now & so is the entire Mickey Avenue. I think the last thing that was there was the Darth Vader meet & greets for Star Wars Weekends.

    RIght now, Mickey will meet and greet over by the animation building. Mickey ave is just closed temporary for the construction that is going on. They will reopen it, but there is rumors about a name change to go with Pixar. We shall see. The park is about Movies, and Scorcer Mickey was an early movie and biig with Walt, so Why not have that as the park Icon?

    I agree it was a big hit with Walt. They just need to move it. I like the hat, it's just in the wrong place.

    IF they had the money to move it, then I am sure it would just be to remove it. I can't picture them moving it for no good reason.

    I think that they should keep the hat. Like someone else said (can't remember who, sorry) I believe Disney is not allowed to sell Phots of their replica of the CHinese theatre because of copyright. The hat represents one of the classic Disney films, also, whereas the CHinese Theatre is not in Disney movies.
