I didn't hear about new countries, but I have heard that they're looking to expand on the countries that already exist, making them 'deeper' and adding new rides to the countries that don't have them...

9/2004 - Polynesian - first time at WDW!
10/2005 - Not the Polynesian (Port Orleans)
    12/2006 - 1/2007 - Polynesian - Christmas & New Year's!
    10/2008 - Polynesian for Halloween!

I think germany need sa Rhine River Cruise, castles on the hills etc. Mexico has a great restaurant and shopping area and a river cruise, just don't name any of the boats Bismarck or Tirpitz...

That would make more since to me. Maybe every country having its own ride of some sort. I would love to see an E-ticket attraction at World Showcase.

"Rhine River Cruise: A Glorious Tour of the Culture and Traditions of Germany (1600-1914 and 1950-Present)."

(As far as boat rides go, I'd still push for Japan to green-light "Ninjas of The Caribbean" first.)

That is a great idea, I just thought that the name was funny because it reminded me of that stupid Borat Movie. I just hope that at the end of the ride, disney doesn't make us sit through a "Glorious Moviefilm"!

    I'm sorry but I just couldn't resist!

Or at least give us the option to scoot on through the theater, like in Norway (although I'd recommend to all red-blooded males who ordinarily by-pass the film to stick around--in the final montage, there's a trio of lovely Scandinavian ballerinas who are always worth the wait).

I think Canada could benefit from an updating in the video department... most of the theatre usually empties out during the show...you feel bad for the Canadian employees watching everyone get bored watching about their country...

I think that if Disney either got rid of the movies and replaced them with rides, shows or even 3-D movies, more people would see them. Most people don't want to watch an educational video while they're on vacation.

Very true. GIve this man/woman a cigar! I think every country should have some sort of ride or show that mixes education with fun. Because, personally, I have NEVER spent more than 5 minutes in Canada or Italy.

Even if they did a log-water ride like in Norway, it would be a huge step up from the 360 degree movie they show now... Le Cellier is a great restaurant, at least.
