New countries at World showwcase?

I'd recommend to all red-blooded males who ordinarily by-pass the film to stick around--in the final montage, there's a trio of lovely Scandinavian ballerinas who are always worth the wait.

Hmmm... going to have to talk the wife and kids into sticking around for the movie during our next trip.

I'm not sure how reliable this is but I was reading some guide book last year (probably the Unofficial Guide to Disney World) and it mentioned Disney adding a new country that had a lot of mythology and would feature a ride . . . I'm thinking Egypt or India, both of which I think would be good

canada's new movie is actually very well done. I'd like to see a completely additional world showcase built to house some of the amazing countries around the world that cant fit in the current one. Russia, australia, brazil...and then even go into some cool cultures like in hawaii (samoan), egyptian or even jamaican!

When EPCOT first opened there were supposed to be several new countries added, Spain, Israel, the Nations of Africa. When you walked around the lagoon there would be billboard style signs indicating the proposed location for these "exciting new additions to World Showcase coming soon" 25 years later...Nada...zip....zilch

I've got to put my vote in with Lou that an India pavilion would be amazing. The only thing better than Disney would be Rogan Josh and Naan at Disney and I love WDW but the options for vegetarians and vegans aren't fabulous. I also think they have the $$$$ to maintain the pavilion.

The only problem with countries like Australlia or India being added to World Showcase is that they really should be added to Animal Kingdom because of their unique animal life, but I have always considered AK an extension of World Showcase anyway.

I think India, Egypt, or Australia could all be great additions to World Showcase. If it was India, I think the weenie would be the Taj Mahal. Egypt would have a pyramid. Would Australia have the Sydney Opera House?

I will be excited to see any of the proposed ideas. While it looks like Russia may be the winner any new country would be great. Epcot is always my favorite park, but i do think some updating would be great. The new films and freshenings occuring at the other paviliions are great and a new country would really cap it all off.

Wow! I took a look at the conceptual renderings, and if they build the pavilion, I'm sure it'll be gorgeous. I'll wait for an official announcement from Disney before I get excited, though...just to be on the safe side.

I would absoultey love a Tahitian, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Somoa, the South Pacific would be a great addition, a lot of neat shows, dining and drinks here!

I would also like an Irish place too that would be great!
