New countries at World showwcase?

I have heard that they will be adding new countries to world showcase soon. I dont know what countries.
Can anyone confirm this?

There have been rumors for years that another country was going to be added to the World Showcase. Spain apparently was in serious talks w/ Disney and it didn't pan out at least not yet.

I doubt we'll see anything soon...

this is not true. this has been a rumor ever since i can remember. although the 25th anniversery is coming up in october do expect some things to change.

i would like to see this happen but if it does where would they go???? i mean the countries are already all next to each other going around the lagoon how would they fit another one in with out taking part of its neighboring countries down with it??

This Google Map shows all the available free space that exists between China and Germany. There's more than enough real estate there for another pavilion.

they wouldnt demolish a country. they would have to get permission from that actual country. because when epcot opened countries had to support the project.

That's simply not true. Only Moraco (which isn't one of the original pavilions) has anything to do with the original nation. The other ten are all sponsored by private companies.

If Disney were to put up another pavilion, they would not by any means need the "permission" of any nation. They only need to find the money for it, whether its from their own budget, a company, or a national government.
