Small World closing??

Hey someone told me at work the other day that Small World is colsing in disney world, does anyone know if this is true??

Small world may be colsing (is that where they actually sign a decent song on key?) but I doubt they're going to get rid of it.

No. Small World in Disneyland is going down for an extended refurb so that they can deepen the canals that the boats float through, because they were having problems with the boats bottoming out. It will reopen after this refurb is over. Small World in Walt Disney World does not have this problem, and no planned refurbs have been announced.

I'd be torn if they closed Small World. On one hand I'd be happy to never have to put myself through the torture of hearing that song in my head all day long but then again it is a classic

Considering it was closed and updated a few years ago, I highly doubt the WDW version will be closing....plus it's a bit of a crowd eater.

Yes it is! Small World closes everyday, when they close the rest of the park.
Ok, with my smart(butt) comment for the day out of they way:
Disney would not close Small World. It's one of Walt's original attractions. Besides, there would be a huge public outcry if they did.

I don't want them to close a Small World everybody thinks the song is annoying, but deep down we know we like it and everytime we leave the ride we are singing it.

agreed! no way would they close it like someone already said here it is a walt original i think he would be ashamed of us if it close!! and no matter how annoying we say it is we all know we all have to ride it to make it an official disney world trip!
