If Toy Story Mania is really open, at least in soft opening, during my May trip, I'm going to really be excited. It's about time the Studios are getting something new.

Everything I've seen says the ride is opening in April but none of that was from Disney itself... just from trustworthy sources. If it's true I'll be doing it in May. I wonder if they'll be FPing it.

Anyone have an official date for the new parade to begin? As of today, Disney still shows the Stars and Motor Cars parade on their site.

The new attraction is called "Toy Story Mania" and it's located where the Millionaire set used to be. It's an interactive ride, like Buzz's Space Ranger Spin with carnival type games that you play using a "gun" on your ride vehicle. The biggest difference for this one is that you have to where 3D glasses as you ride.

I hate to say it, but I am not a fan of Block Party Bash. I have seen it twice at DCA. Once in 2005 and last year. If I had to pick my favorite part, Mr Potato Head is really cute! I am keeping my fingers crossed for soft openings for Toy Story Mania for my May 10th trip!

I got to see the Block Party Bash on March 10th! I thought it was pretty cool and I got to dance right in with the CMs. It was cool....I should have a few pictures in my trip report sometime soon.

Also, the ride will get harder if you are good at it, and easier if you are not-so-good at it. I will have to ask my friend who is a TSM Cast Member, as well as one of my old managers when it will open.
