I am just sad that I never had a chance to meet him. I was going to see him during our next trip. I did notice that when I was there over Christmas that there was no line for Figment. I think it was just a bad location.

seriously though, why would they get rid of figment? are they replacing him?

They are going to replace him with another lizard creature with the name of Lester, somehow he's Chester and Hester's second cousin twice removed because nobody liked him because he was pink with yellow spots. Poor Lester, he needs some love, and a character meet and greet spot

I've heard the same thing, that he's only going to be gone temporarily and might return in the fall.

I was also told that Figment's Place is not being dismantled. The only thing they've removed is the exterior signs, while the interior is still in tact.

I got this from WDW News Today:

-As reported on our forums, the Figment’s Place meet and greet and the Figment walk around character have been retired at Epcot. Expect Dreamfinder and his “little” purple dragon to return to the park sometime in the next few months, probably late 2008/early 2009.

well its good figments not gone forever. i think too many ppl would miss him. even though lester sounds fun, hehe, i prefer figment. figments, like, epcot!!! what would we do w/out r little imagination guy??? cant wait to c u again figment!
