It's about changes being added to Small World, just like what happened to PotC. They're related. We just got a little off topic.

I know this is still off topic, but it kinda relates back....Anyways, I literally laughed out loud when I read this!! Partially due to the fact that my grandma swears that the hairy leg is in IASW and not POTC. She hasn't been there in many, many years, but she honestly "remembers" it being in IASW! So me and my mom taped in when we went through POTC just to show her so maybe she'll finally get it straight!

And I'll add my two cents here. I think adding characters to IASW would just be strange and wouldn't fit in at all. I get where they're coming from (sort of), but I like it better the way it is!

    Leave it Alone

They should just leave this timeless classic alone as far as adding new characters. The refurb was great and really brightened things up but we need to keep some of the original Magic Kingdom around....

    Hey

I heard that they are adding the White Rabbit and Alice from Alice in Wonderland by a checkerboard in the England part of IASM. Not sure if it's true though!

Stay away from the Re-Imagineering blog! It's highly overrated and the people there are way too mean-spirited, hateful of change and overly-biased towards the "old".

And their info is so wrong that it's laughable.

And to make matters worse, these Small World discussions have already gotten so ridiculously out of hand that they've become all-too intolerable and I wish they would end now!

I posted up a topic about this as well. As I understand it, they aren't rumor, but are limited to Disneyland.

Re-Imagineering is not overly negative in my opinion. Honestly they could be a lot worse. They loved the new Nemo attraction. And honestly, maybe I am just sad with the current state of imagineering, but I rarely disagree with them. But the current post is made up of quotes from animators/imagineers etc who are opposed to the changes.

Sorry, but I still beg to differ.

They ARE overly-negative and look for reasons to be overly-negative. And their articles are extremely repetitive, making it obvious that they're running out of new material and making themselves look more and more like pathetic whiney fanboys than like Disney/Pixar professionals.

And they'll never get it through their heads that critcisms as bad as theirs only hurt the Disney fan community rather than elevate it.

A reminder from the management that everyone is entitled to their opinions and are requested to respect the opinions of others on these boards. Name calling and attacks will not be tolerated.

Just posting this friendly reminder before things get out of hand here. Play nice and all will be well.

We now return you to the thread already in progress....
