What if you already have a vacation booked for that time of year and meet all the requirements?

I just got off the phone with Disney and all the Value rooms are booked and only one Moderate left. I have a package booked for January within the timeslot and couldn't get the new rate. That stinks! This is the first time I am really P.O.ed at something Disney has done. I was asked if I could change my dates but I cannot. I now feel like canceling my trip and doing something different.

Doesnt sound good for us the, I sent in a quote request to Small World vacations the day it was released. We'll just stick with the original plan of next fall for mnsshp.

FYI - I just priced a trip for May at a value and found availability in more than one resort.

I lamented to my husband how the awesome deals always come up when we can't get down there. When I explained the deal to him, he looked at me and told me to get a quote and we can try for April. How much do I love that guy!?!? Hopefully we can work something out to take advantage of this great deal!

Well I tried to get the deal again but failed. But I'm not upset anymore. I was very disappointed we couldn't get the deal at first but we are still going and we will have a blast.

I learned a valuable lesson. When Disney puts out a very good deal, JUMP FAST! They sell out quick! Also be flexible with your travel dates. Ours are set in stone because of airline tickets and we are celebrating our birthdays during our trip.

Good luck to everyone in finding a good deal!

    Hey everybody!
so as I'm sure everyone knows, Disney is doing a buy 4 nights & 4 day base ticket & get 3 nights & 3 extra days on your base ticket. This is for all of the resorts I read.
I kicked around some numbers for 2 people & came out with a price. Now, I don't know if what I am figuring in applies & I know I could be wrong. But here is what I came up with based on the value season room rates for a moderate resort during early Feb. Dates February 3rd- February 10th. This for the buy 4 nights get 3 nights plus park tickets discount they are running now. Let me know if this is correct or if I'm off.

    Room @ Moderate resort during value season is $150 X 4 nights= $600
    $219 for a 4 day adult base ticket X 2 people= $438
park hopper add on for 2 people is about $100
water park add on for 2 people is about $100
basic dining is about $40 per person per night of our stay, so $40 X 7=$280 X 2 people =$560
Air from Jet Blue.com for 2 people came to a total of $550. That is for coming in on Feb 3rd in the AM & coming back in the afternoon on Feb 10th. Flying out of stewart airport in Newburgh,NY & landing in Orlando.

    600
    438
    100
    100
    560
    +550= $2,348

So for 7 nights on this buy 4 get 3 promotion, factoring in value season room rates, $2,348 is the total I came up with. Again I don't know if basing this on value season rates would apply, but I just figured it made sense considering it IS value season in early Feb. let me know if I'm dreaming or if this price is actually possible. I have been bit by the disney bug & now I got the itch!
