Norway Viking Ship being demolished

The Norway, Viking Ship to be demolished? It has been closed off for a while and it was a toss up if it was going to be refurbished, but now it appears it will be a goner.

While some kids became a bit rambunctious on this ship it holds nice memories for our family. While waiting for Illuminations when my children were small we often spent some time there. My son with his pirate pistol had some fun playing pirate. Good memories.

I didn't even know they were toying with the idea of fixing it up.... I always thought they were just going to get rid of it once they found that the wood was rotting.

I can't say I'll miss it myself since I never got any pleasure out of it since it was built long after I grew up and I don't have any kids. I'm sure the kids that did get to play on it found it fun though. I'm sure its a shame for those that did enjoy it.

Its a perfect spot for one of those little playgrounds. Hopefully, they will put in a little viking ship and stuff for playing

Is crab something Norwegians eat? I think a walk-up seafood counter would be agreat replacement for the boat! But what kind of crab could they serve?..hmmmmm. Kingcrab would probably be too pretentious. Maybe a nice humble blue crab or dungeoness instead.

I think crabs need warmer weather than the cold waters of Norway. I think they'd be serving a lot of herring.
