Looks like it will be fun, that is if it pans out.
The Travelears website recently received word form an inside source that construction bids are going out for a Little Mermaid attraction for Walt Disney World in Florida. Currently this is all the info we have received and is obviously a in the early rumor stage.

oh, i hope they make this. it looks like so much fun. I remember a while back there was a video on youtube of a dark ride through what they were planning to make the ride look like. I think it may have been on the little mermaid dvd, but i dont know. any how, i would love to see this ride made.

even though they already have the movie like attraction in the park, i think a ride would be neat.

As much as I'd love to see this... I really think one LM ride in DCA is enough. I really think disney needs to start making more attractions unique to each park again. The same attractions in the Kingdoms are OK, but can't we come up for another idea for a dark ride? something not done before, or something even... ((gasp!)) non movie related? I have no problem with movie related attractions, but I really think disney needs a few new original dark rides too.
The Golden age never was the present age… but with human liberty we can fulfill the promise and meaning of America. To everyone a chance. To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. This is the promise of America...And I foresee the American adventure to continue for a long, long time!

The new entrance to DCA should be pretty sweet

I agree that this would be a great time to invest in new attractions. You take advantage of low prices and you are ready for the recovery. But I think that given all the uncertainty, it would take some pretty gutsy decisions to make it happen. Let's hope, but I'm not too hopeful![]()

what about the animated ride on the Little Mermaid dvd
I had heard of this before... I think there was talk of putting it where the old 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea used to be
