Re: Ticket price increase?

Well, if they do end up raising it, I hope that the price won't go up too much...

Re: Ticket price increase?

Why so much? That's like a 6.5% increase, I thought historically it increases closer to 5%.

With the way our economy is these days, I'm sure there will be another ticket increase.

Even when times are booming, prices usually go up also. It all
supply and demand, and even though folks are spending less on souvenirs, gifts and etc....they are still going to the parks. Attendence, from what ive heard is down only a few %'s
I think the next two years will tell a better story.
Alot of folks that lost their job, ALREADY had this years vacation purchased...the next 2 "summers" will be interesting to see what happens.

Re: Ticket price increase?

I think Disney should do a "we're not raising prices during these rough times" campaign.

Just wanted to correct myself...I had forgotten that in 2006 the prices were raised in January AND August, so actually the last THREE increases were in the first Sunday in August.

OT? What's that? I worked 80 hours a week all last winter...didn't get a dime for it. The glory of being a salaried worker. I have to work a second job, and even then it's tight.
