You know what we should do? Everyone on here that's going to WDW should go into WDOMD every fifteen minutes with a different hat on. :P
J/K. I wouldn't think that they'd close OMD when they just made D23 a sponsor.
I was just in the parks last week, and while at Hollywood studios I went to Walt Disney, One Man's Dream. Unfortunately, a cast member appeared to be counting everyone who came in. Given that this is a low-traffic attraction on a high-traffic street, I fear this may be the part of Disney's internal process to decide whether to close an attraction or not. I sincerely hope I'm just being paranoid, because it's a very meaningful and interesting attraction in my opinion.

A dream is *WISH* your heart makes, when you're fast asleep.
Going to Disney this June of '10!
`~`A true Disney princes!`~`
That's true about the D23 thing. I don't think they'd close it either.
They counted Guests when I first went to that attraction a few years ago. I've always thought they try to allow only as many Guests into the "museum" part that will fit in the theater, then allow more in as the show at the end finishes up. Plus, if the museum gets too crowded, I don't think it would be as fun. I'd hate to be crawling through people while I'm trying to take in my Disney history!
We have visited this attraction several times over the years. When we last visited this past early June, the theater had more guests than I had seen in awhile. The attraction seemed to be doing well in terms of attendance while we were there.
I believe the main reason for doing this is for crowd control, but they may also be counting to help them figure out what times of the day are busiest, so they know how many castmembers to have on hand during the peak times.
