DHS to have changes by 2011?

I forget where, but on some disney site i heard that by 2011 the backlot tour will be closed and the space will be for the monsters inc roller coaster, and that sounds dangerous will close and some new audio show will replace it. does anybody know if this is true or have seen this?

I'd be sad to see the backlot tour go but anything that replaces sounds dangerous has got to be good!

haha I always hated that show. It scared the **** out of my little sister becuase of the pitch dark. When the part with the haircut scene came, she screamed and cried because she thought someone was chopping off her hair!!

I would also be sad to see the backlot tour go but a montsers inc coaster would be a cool idea and people are always looking for new thrills.

I wouldn't believe it just yet except to say, I would imagine at some point there will be somthing where Sounds Dangerous currently is

as for the Backlot Tour, I imagine they will someday replace this attraction. It does not generate the interest it used to, the place no longer pretends to be an active Studio and it takes up a lot of room right next to the presumably expanding Pixar Studios

I could easily see both happening. Sounds Dangerous was never popular and, as for the Backlot Tour, it has not been right for a very long time. In it's original design it was really an exciting and interesting ride but it long ago changed to something that people are just not as entertained by.

The space that this ride takes up is rather large overall so a lot could be done with it too! Only time will tell but it is bound to be something great.

I would be glad to see the Backlot go. I've never liked it, and it doesn't seem to be extremely popular for everyone else either.

I would miss the original, but the newest version is such a waste of touring. I was so disappointed with what Disney pared this attraction down too. I will miss the canyon though.

I love SD. Hope I like the next one, it is time.

I actually like Sounds Dangerous too. I've seen it more than once and I thought it was hilarious. However, it is a little outdated, so I'm excited to see what new attraction they put in its place.

i really hope a monsters inc. coaster comes, that would be awesome. and as of Backlot, it is getting too boring over the years, i just wish they could keep CC.

My vote is not for a monsters inc ride but I would love to see crushes coaster come over from DLRP. That coaster is amazing. Even though they have the seas with Nemo and friends i still would like to see it.

On the flip side a monsters inc coaster in the same style as crushes coaster would be a lot of fun and a good twist on a pixar movie. I don't know what else they could do but we'll see what happens at D23 and if it is announced.

I would like to see a Nemo water ride at the Studios. There is already a coaster there so lets see some variety.

Ack the bees... I HATE the bees in sounds dangerous. Its like when a mosquito gets into your room at night and you can hear it buzzing around your ear and it keeps you awake. Ugh. The backlot tour used to be great, but now I never ride it when I'm there since well... its mainly just a waste of time now. Im sure lots of people would be upset, but theres no point keeping rides around just for the sake of keeping them around. Nostaglia just can't keep it popular
