its rock-n-rollercoaster, not country-hoedown-a-palooza.
Aerosmith fits the ride. As much as i love the Beatles (which i am a strong proponent for in any other occasion) and the stones, i dont think they would fit in that type of ride.
U2 could do it. or what would be even cooler would be the ultimate supergroup, ya know?

yeah they could fit.
but by supergroup i mean a band of members of other bands.
for example, something like:
Ringo- Drums
Sting- Bass
Edge- Guitar
Eddie Van Halen- Lead
Steve Perry- Vocals
btw i would name this band:
Steve Perry and 4 Guys Who Don't Use Their Real Names
^^its a work in progress

I don't think I would ever be able to set foot on Rock n' Rollercoaster if it featured the Jonas Brothers. I doubt it would, though, since it already seems like the Jonas Brothers are fading back into the woodwork. There are a lot of other bands that would work on that ride, but NOT the Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooOOOOOOooooo.......nooo. ..noooo....noooooooo.....echooooo.........
Replace Aerosmith with one of the bands in my signature.
there's nothing to get hung about
As much as I hate people using iPod's in the parks, if this ever happens I'm bringing mine.
Halloween has come and gone..

why wouldn't it. and what happened before
I'm tired of Aerosmith anyway. I want a generic RnR C with no direct ties to any band or singer. I wish the whole music genre would be the theme, be it 50's rock and roll or 40's music to tie in with the ToT next door.
A band that is simply not playing together, or even replaces a member, is not an unusual occurance. The band will still exist with or without Steven Tyler, either with a new singer (in which case I'm sure most people won't actually consider it Aerosmith), or go on indefinite hiatus.
Aerosmith itself had replaced Joe Perry and Brad Whitford were replaced for a time in the early 80s). Other bands have replaced members and continued under their original name, some with more success than others. Some bands took on new names to reflect that they were different.
As for RNRC, even if the band never plays again, they still existed, as will the attraction. Disney has a contract to use their likenesses and unless there is an out clause that Aerosmith or Tyler could execute, or something happens that seriously would affect the image of Aerosmith and Disney has an out clause it executes, I expect nothing to change.
