Resort Re-Identification?

A friend of mine how is a stores cast member told me he heard a rumor from another cast member at the Fort Wilderness Resort that the company is planning to re-identify all of the resorts. This includes removing any of the characters, logos, etc. that identify or add personalization to a particular resort. The Fort Wilderness Campground will become "Disney's Campground?"

The FW cast member advised that they are asking guests to write letters against this proposed change? Has anyone heard about this?

Re: Resort Re-Identification?

Oh Geez, anything is possible. I'll have my son ask around. He was able to hit the nail on the head with the monorail accident while many were rumoring D & A cause.

It does fit in with the Pop rumor, re-naming and re-theming. Pop Century be rebranded as Disney's Animation Inn and Suites

I hope not. I enjoy the break from the park theming when I go back to the moderate/deluxe hotels. I enjoy the charm without the hype.

Disney's Hollywood Studio's, there we have it.

Re: Resort Re-Identification?

Very interesting. What would be the reason behind it though, if it were true?

Re: Resort Re-Identification?

Could this be a corruption of the fact that they are removing per-resort merchandise in favor of generalized merch?
