| New Monorails? My brothers and I were watching Modern Marvals on Disney and they were wondering if Disney is revamping the Monorail to a newer design. Is it true? Thanks guys!

| Re: New Monorails? I would think so. Disneyland just recently got new monorails.

Coincidentally, check out the pictures online of the duping grounds for old Disney monorails, if you can find them. Pretty neat! |

| Re: New Monorails? Me too! I have to study for French, Bio, and Civics still today. I have French tomarrow(it'll be easy!), English and Bio on Thursday, which won't be that bad, and then Civics and Geometry on Friday, then I'm out! ![]()

| Re: New Monorails? The Teal monorail was added not to long ago and a new monorail will be added next year to bring the count back up to twelve. I love the Disneyland monorail. I wish I would have taken the time to ride it. |

| Re: New Monorails? I'm sure they are always thinking ahead to having to replace them, but from what I know at this point there is not a schedule in place. Monorail Teal was constructed from the A and B ends of Purple and Pink. I believe the other one will be constructed from the existing Mark VI design plans. The current Mark VIs have lasted longer operationally than the original Mark IVs, but I believe the current control systems are relatively new.

| Re: New Monorails? I don't know, I think I like the WDW style monorails better than the Disneyland variety. If they do replace the monorails, I'd like to see them stick with the current design as much as possible.
