I went on Living with the Land a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't notice any changes from my trip the previous year. None of the things mentioned in that old article had been noticeably updated, if they were even updated at all.
Hearing the Living with the Land will go off line again sometime in early 2010 for refurb, yet again. For the same rumored updates as the last closure.
Has anyone been on this attraction since it was brought back on line?
Did they do anything?

Same here. Actually, when I last rode it, I hadn't been on it since they took out the tour guide and the song. So this time, the big changes were the empty seat up front and the new piped in spiel. Other than that, I couldn't remember much of what the ride was like. I guess after riding it when I was younger, it was boring enough to keep me off until I got older. I don't know how it could change much, outside of what they're growing.
With the Land going down again after the holiday rush, sure makes you wonder if it is going to be a seasonal ride.I love riding through the veggie area. The rest I could do without.
I did ride it, but I didn't notice a whole lot that changed...
I hope we never lose sight of one thing, that it was all started by a mouse.
I hope it doesn't go seasonal. I love the whole ride and focus on new tech and sustainability.

The LSAT is not as fun as the Haunted Mansion, but just as scary.
This ride going seasonal would be devastating. One of my top 5. Easily. Classic Disney World.
I'm about as All-American as they come!
*Natalie*Must get a new trip on the books! I'm dyin' here!
I think it going seasonal is speculation. I believe after the refurb and then emergecy maintenance they had recently, they found that additional work needed to be done.

Hmm... Anyone else like Listen to the Land better? Sure, it didn't have a thunderstorm, but it had that great song...

To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. I do miss the song that went with it. I personally don't think it would be seasonal because of the importance of Soarin'. That land needs something to help keep people there while waiting for their FastPass time. Just a thought.
I agree! Let's hope. But really. What are you going to remember the ride by? Sure, you saw some stuff, but are you going to walk away repeating the spiel from the ride? Nope! needs a song. More CDs disney can put out, if someone starts singing it, they can tell others. It's a win win for Disney.
