Wonders of Life Reborn? (Yet another rumour)

Another rumour about a new sponser for WoL. But this time it might be more likely seeing as the rumour has started from a non Disney enthusiast inside the sponser.

This being Microsoft

It appeared on the DISboards yesterday. will look for the link later on today.

Lets hope this isnt just a rumour which leads us down a path of misplaced excitement

IDEA!!! If microsoft is going to be a sponser maybe they will have a TRON based ride to replace BODYWARS to go along with the movie due out in dec. 2010 .......just a thought

I thought Body wars was very fun and i would like to see not only the ride come back but the pavilion as well

If Microsoft does take part of being the sponsor for WoL, it will be the most futuristic pavilion to date in Epcot's Future World in fact it will be the biggest and best Disney theme park attraction to host all of the newest technology created by Microsoft. We will actually be able to walk into the future if this rumor does appear true in the near future, Microsoft is the biggest corporation out there with all the big bucks to go along with it so if they do sponsor WoL I can see a major overhaul and great new things inside that pavilion. Someone mentioned a Tron attraction being placed, I would love to see that and maybe something involving Halo since its Microsoft's most successful video game franchise they have going on and not to mention it will bring in alot of visitors mostly teeangers, it will give Epcot that extra boast they need and I really hope this rumor turns out to be true.

WOL is one of my most fond memories of EPCOT when I first visited, would be pleased if it returned.

If Microsoft sponsors the pavilion, they'll have to keep taking it apart and rebuilding it again every few years to fix all the problems.

C'mon...i was shocked that nobody else made the joke up to this point.

Sure, they have the money and technology, but so do a lot of other computer companies (including one that has a pretty close relationship to Disney via the Pixar brand). Honestly, what needs to drive this area is the IDEA, the IMAGINEERING. And not just the corporate synergy. A Tron themed exhibit would not only be the kind of thing people wish EPCOT wasn't but it would be incredibly risky as nobody knows how successful the film would be (not to mention that they couldn't roll it out quick enough to be ready for the film's release). I just joked on another thread that i wish they'd just put Horizons in where WoL is. But in all honesty, maybe an update on Horizons, combining the best concepts of that ride with updated technological, futuristic developments could work.

It would be cool but i think this pavillion is in need of a major refurb. I believe they should change body wars to a ride based on the phineas and ferb episode where they shrink down and take a ride through candace. I think this would attract more people to the pavillion.

While I'd love to see it come back as it formerly was, I don't think it will happen.
