I hope not. I love it just the way it is
Re: The Great Movie Ride Rehab???
I definitely don't want to see a rehab as I really don't trust Disney to do it right. I can just see Space Buddies taking over the Casablanca set.

I think that certain parts of GMR are classic and have to stay. I love the everything until Alien and the Wizard of Oz scene. Some scenes could be replaced though, such as the Tarzan, Fantasia, and "horror" area. I would also like to see the original plans for the finale be built. GMR just needs a TINY facelift. But don't mess with it too much!!!

Exactly what i think. Too me, a Titanic scene should be added because it is a classic now, and maybe a Star Wars scene from the original movie. That would be a good change that wouldnt change it too much to me.
Re: The Great Movie Ride Rehab???
one reason they havent refurbed this attraction is because they do no want to add films to the attraction that are found all over MGM... like Star Wars... the Indy scene is only ok because it is short and it doesnt involve anything from the attraction...
if they only did a "real" Fantasia scene it would make all the difference...

Titanic is only classic when considering its box office numbers. I would not consider Titanic to be classic in the same vein as Casablanca or Wizard of Oz. I just really don't feel like it has stood the test of time.

I think it has even though its only been a movie for 15 years(maybe a little less, i dont know:question:), because it was a great movie and to some it is considered one of the best of all time not because of the money it made, but just because it was truly a great movie. I understand what you mean about the test of time, but I think give it another ten years, and people will still think what they thought when it was new and even now. I think it would be a great thing to do if they put it in the ride, it would really work to me.:D
Re: The Great Movie Ride Rehab???
I agree with aerosmithfan94. Titanic is a great movie considered by most of the world. And its suprised me they havent made a star wars scene yet. Maybe a scene from the original trilogy and 1 from revenge of the sith
Re: The Great Movie Ride Rehab???
NO STAR WARS
Since we're now out of the realm of Disney or MGM movies, how about some real classics like Psycho or The African Queen (eh, eh, there's a Disney World hidden secret for ya) or Les Misérables?

I don't see a scene from Titanic being added because it isn't a Disney or MGM film (and all the scenes in GMR are from Disney/MGM movies).
Re: The Great Movie Ride Rehab???
Titanic is only 13 years old. I'd hardly consider 13 years old a classic.
That's what the Disney Co. considers a "tween"
