    This is the first I've heard of it.

    It kind of seems doubtful though, unless there is a sudden need for animation facilities - but they can probably take care of that fine elsewhere.

    well... with the success of The Princess and the Frog... they might be making a push to traditional animation... and you know that will eventually happen... it really has got to... everything always comes full circle... and maybe they might think about using DHS as the animation dept... and yes it would make the studio aspect so much more believable...

    well... what i mean by success is in the artistic sense... not commercial success... everywhere i hear it received critical acclaim... i think it is going to take some time for the traditional animation to make a comeback... but it might...

    hey... hollywood comes full circle alot... think of John Wayne and the cowboy films in the 50's and 60's... and the The Unforgiven...

    I'd love to see the animators back in there again. The first time we ever took the tour, they were just starting to work on Atlantis. An animator showed us how to draw Milo. He signed the drawing he made and gave it to someone in our tour.

    A few years later, we saw the movie and were amazed at the likeness to the drawings we were seeing. The animation tour is EXACTLY what the Studios park was all about.

    I'm very doubtful that the animators are coming back. Princess and the Frog was not as successful as Disney wanted and probably will continue on with CGI which disappoints me. Traditional animation is very expensive and Disney is a business, if they get little profit from it, why bother?
