It would be kind of nice to go to the World and have the ride be something different than what I am used to. Soarin' is one of my favorites at DCA so I think I would be okay with it either way. As long as the feel was the same that is.

If anything, I think that Epcot should get the highly rumored "Soarin' over the world". It would fit the park, as Soarin' over California fits DCA. However, it will probably be that if Epcot gets a new film, DCA will too, so either way, it most likely won't make sense in one park.

The one reply about the Soarin over NY I believe could be accurate. Go back and watch the behind the magic of WDW on the Travel Channel. At the end it talks about new parks or what Disney has to come..llook at one of the imagineers working on an image of a "flight" view of NYC and the statue of liberty...sooo maybe it is a soarin over USA?? Go watch and tell me what you think!

I am currently looking through the hour show from the Travel Channel..I'm thinking it is the show called Behind the scenes: Walt Disney World...It is a very quick glimpse. The narrator is talking before the commercial break, saying "Next. etc...Then, What new attractions are the imagineers coming up with". At that point it shows the imagineers in a big warehouse looking area with the big photo slides of the statue of liberty and what not.

The real question is, how old was the footage? Some of those programs are up to 10 years old, although they have refreshed a few segments.

I'm actually perfectly happy with Soarin' over California. Florida would be pointless and trying to cram in all of America's best sites would be a little odd and all over the place. Plus, where do you go? Natural wonders? Or city landmarks?
I think California had the best mix off landscapes and made for a nice smooth trip. Anything else wouldn't really be "soaring"...
It would be more like Hyperjetting over America.
