Main Street Electrical Parade to stay?

i could be wrong about this but someone told me that Disney just signed on to have the Main Street Electrical Parade at WDW for 2 years!!? im not sure of it is 100% true but it very well may be... let me know if anyone has heard anything yay or nay on the subject...

Although I have never seen MSEP live, I hope SM comes back. I really prefer the music of SM so much more.

Only rumors, but it is generally expected to stick around longer than they alluded to (which was just the summer). Total length varies between late fall to at least a year.

I have never seen MSEP so I would love for it to stay a little longer in case I do get to go in October.

I hope it's here to stay. I love Spectro Magic, but MSEP is a classic. I find it hard to believe that Disney would go to the trouble and expense to move it from the West coast for only a few months. I'm hopeful that it's here at least until the Fantasyland expansion has been completed.

the rumor i heard was that MK/WDW entertainment signed a contract that would keep the Main Street Electrical Parade in WDW for two years... in that time, it would allow the imagineers the opportunity to refurb and upgrade Spectro, as well as have a new rebooted parade in time for the Fantasyland expansion's opening...


does that mean that we will be able to see the Electrical Parade in that time... not necessarily... but i do find this, from the words of Chef Skinner... "VERY Suspect!!"

im going in october as well and would really like to see it.. i have listened to the music on my ipod for about 3-4 years now and i would love to see the parade

I'm hopefully going in November and I would like to see it again, It's been a long time, but then I would like to see Spectro Magic come back, that's my favorite

i heard that they might use MSEP to draw ppl to MK while the Fantasyland Expansion is occurring... then they may bring back an upgraded Spectro to help open the new Fantasyland...

I really hope it's just for the summer. I love Spectro and will probably shed a tear if it's not running when we go in December

i would really like to see the parade.. but i think every night were there is a MNSSHP night so they wont be doing it..
