How Long will Captin Eo Stay?

Hello Disney Addicts,
I was just wondering if anybody has heard or thought about how long Captin Eo will stay at Epcot. I'm a big fan and I hope it stays awhile! Is anybody upset to see Honey I Shrunk the Audience go? (No effence to anybody, but I hated it. The snake made me afraid when I was little.) I'm going July 31 and am curious to see how it is better than the original. Comment and tell me what you think!

I have not heard of any who was sad that Honey I Shrunk the Audience went. The snake scared me too. I am hoping that it stays open for awhile. I want to see but my next trip is next june/july.

I've seen both and frankly I'd like a third alternative. Captain EO was never any good in my estimation and HISTK was there far too long. I'd like them to replace both films with something creative and fresh but I'm beginning to believe that's expecting too much from Disney these days. It seems they are all about quick and cheap now.

The rumor that's been going around is that Captain EO is going to stick around for a year.
I actually want to see it because I was too young to see it when it was there and just to see what it's like.

Hopefully not long. Hopefully they are working on a new movie for the pavilion. HISTA was fun when it first came out but the video is grainy and the film is just dated. Since it is in the Imagination pavilion it should feature Figment. They should embrace him a little more. But yeah hopefully EO won't be around too long.

I hope not long because i love hista. The imagination pavilion just flows and goes together so good right now even if it is not as good as good as it use to be. I love the way they pretend like it is an open house and how you can ride the ride through the imagination institute then go over to hista and learn about some of the latest inventions. Wouldnt it be cool if they replaced hista with some type of meet the Robinson's ride.

really...? you love HISTA...? having never seen EO i am curious... but not to the point of racing to see it in Aug when i go down... but i cannot remember the last time i actually went to HISTA... it lost appeal to me a long time ago...

When I was talking to an EO CM the other night he said EO was on the "long range temporary plan" which he figures means at least 3 years. Unless it tanks or something. Realize, of course, this is from a front-line CM so maybe he just had been asked the question too many times or something but there's the info I heard for what it's worth.

Would it be easy for them to put something of the TRON nature in there? Depending on how the movie does of course.
