Of course, they may have other plans by now, and will run EO until they have something completely new - but I don't think they were planning on it.
your right... they werent planning on replacing HISTA... but EO might last long enough for them to re-imagineer a new show or so in that area... b/c lets be realistic... HISTA and the HISTK movie set is so irrelevant nowadays... many kids dont even know who Rick Moranis even is...

FYI, I just heard from someone at the parks, and all the signs are still up at the pavilion, only the Imageworks area seems affected so far.

Somehow the colors there just don't seem so true anymore.

They aren't cutting all their ties to Disney, just with the pavilion itself

Right...but all the signs on/in the pavilion are still there, which is what I was saying. Right now, other than Imageworks being mostly walled off, there is no sign of a Kodak pullout at any level.

Between their mini ads through out the parks a la their Picture Spots, and their domination of the photo shops, I wonder if they're clearing enough to keep paying Disney's (undoubtedly ourageous) fees for their sponsorships?

Getting more info - it appears that things are SEVERELY overblown at this point. Imageworks is still there...only the demonstration area in the middle is walled off.

I've heard that George Eastman died and that's the reason why Kodak has pulled their sponsorship. Can anyone confirm?

I presume you know that he's been dead for almost 80 years, and this was some attempt at a joke...

Thank you. Sometimes it hardly seems worth the effort.

If only... How fun a new ride could be. We have the interactive technology for it... NO not touch screens. Real interactivity. Figment, Dreamfinder, something to really blow your mind... err... Imagination. I don't see Disney making another ENTIRE pavilion unavailable... pretty soon future world will be about as functional as the leave a legacy statues.
The Golden age never was the present age… but with human liberty we can fulfill the promise and meaning of America. To everyone a chance. To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. This is the promise of America...And I foresee the American adventure to continue for a long, long time!

I could see a ride like Buzz and Toy Story mixed with the pick your own ride theme like in the end of Horizons. Kind of a "Pick your own Journey into Imagination with Figment and Dreamfinder." I would love to see this pavillion come back to life. I kind of miss waiting in line for an hour like I use to back in the late 80's early 90's.
