Seven Dwarves Mine coaster....

Really this should have gone in the thread FL being revised? but that thread has gone very sideways.

Have read rumours this morning on the revision of the FL expansion, with the Pixies either going completely or being moved, possibly into a new facility built on the site of the old FL Skyway station.

But the biggest change that appears to be quite a real, possible change, is the complete scrapping of the Aurora/Cinderella houses build, the removal of the Snow White ride, and the construction of a Dwarves Indoor Mine Coaster (a mix between Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain).

Anyone with anymore confirmation?

I reckon the plans for the later construction part of the expansion is likely to keep changing, but this, if done well could be a great addition

i like the coaster idea..

ETA: as long as they keep the coaster family friendly and eveyone can go on, after all it is Fantasyland

I don't much care what they do with it, as long as it's not too true to the original plan. Little Mermaid ride would be new and fun. But other than that, a cruddy endless meet-n-greet area for princesses and fairies, and two Dumbo rides? Um, no.

Seems the expansion rumors change quite often.

That's all they are for now are rumors. Any bored Disney fan who wants to see if he can get something started will post a "I heard that... can anyone verify?" thread over and over again across the internet.

well... except that the repeating factor is that the original plan is out and only the Dumbo are Beauty and the Beast areas are the only certainties

Nothing against you, sir. I meant in general. How many countless threads have bene started with "I heard that..." but were based on nothing? Same way people report the death of celebrities for fun. :thumbs:

Well then that's fair enough.

The Mine idea could be quite cool if done right and not done on the cheap

I think the biggest thing that points to a major ride is Harry potter is a lot bigger than people expected, so Disney really needs a people puller.

It'd be an awesome idea to give Fantasyland a kick in the kid-friendly pants for sure. As far as tearing out a classic dark ride attraction for it? Not too sure.
