Hyperion . . . as Tom Skaggs will tell you that name comes from the theater where Snow White debuted in 1937, the famous Hyperion Theater.
i am interested to see how this develops... considering alot of people have major thoughts about the nightlife options...
lets be realistic though... this will never be citywalk... and lets not try and act like it will be...

This is beginning to smell like Pop the Legendary Years. Stalled again.
Did Hyperion Wharf get delegated to someone else with all the the job swapping this month.
Today,
Asked if Hyperion Wharf will still get built at some point, Disney says only "We don't have anything specific to share today...."
What does that even mean?

It means they. Don't even have a clue...

I thought it was... But I felt compelled to give the most obvious answer possible... Don't you find it interesting that lately Disney has done alot of backtracking or rethinking... I think it is wise to see fan reaction before the plans are set in stone like they did for new Fantasyland...

It is always disheartening to see a Disney project stall. While many Blue Sky projects never get past the good idea/planning stage, seeing something get started and then fizzle is sad. Closing up the Pleasure Island "club scene" was aligned with corporate logic of "if they can't take the kids to it we're losing a demographic". Closing the Comedy Club and the Adventurer's Club the same applied. The Paradiso 37 installation and the Irish Pub increased overall retail space that maintains a currency stream more evenly throughout the day as opposed to the night time spikes of dance clubs/bars. Still though to see that big grass space over by the Wild Horse area is sad.

Isn't it amazing... I said it then and I believe it now.. they are sitting back and waiting to see the fan reaction... in this case we may hear rumblings of an Adventurer's Club return... they have definitely lost out to CityWalk the nightlife crew, but I don't think that bothers them at all... They were into getting them back in the first place...
