The 5th Park has been in the rumors for a long time so lets "round up" the rumors. Here are some guidelines for this thread.....

How about an expansion to Animal Kingdom that features mythic animals. I mean look at the logo for the AK, it has a dragon in it. I tried to upload the pic but the site will not let me??

I believe that was suppose to be original to the park...some may argue that it has come to fruition already in the form of expedition everest.

You always see the rumors of a Disney Villains park, but I think it would be tough to cater that to an entire family (including small kids). Instead I would like to see a Fab 5 themed park. Each "Land" can represent a different character.

As far as rides are concerned, I think you could run the gambit from thrill rides to dark rides. Imagine a roller coaster that is "Sorcerer's Apprentice" themed, or a dark ride themed to "The Brave Little Tailor." The cross-marketing potential could be larger than anything that Disney currently has, and that is saying something!

I want to see the existing parks (AK and DHS) developed further before any 5th gate is even discussed. By the way, any word on Night Kingdom lately?, fortunately I haven't heard anything in a while...

thats always been everyones idea... get the first 4 parks updated and refurbed before we talk about a new 5th gate... MGM still has issues and we all know that AK needs major work...

that was... it was supposed to be Beastly Kingdom... that why there is a dragon in the AK logo...

I agree with multiple posts above...refurb the others first...however in the future I would like to see a 5th gate open

I'm not all the biggest fan of the Beastly Kingdom concept...or the Knight Kingdom that was rumored, which would be like $100 admission and would only open 4pm-midnight

I also agree with everybody else that the other 4 parks should be brought up to snuff before a 5th gate opens, but that doesn't mean I don't have an opinion on what I think would be good.

My idea would be similar to California Adventure, but for all of America. (Too bad the name American Adventure is already taken...) The main gate could be themed to Ellis Island with the other "lands" being themed to different regions. "The City" would be New York/Northeast themed, "Great Lakes" could have a steel mill themed thrill ride, ect...

I also envision a rear entrance to the park from the San Francisco themed area. Past that entrance could be a new hotel area with Asian inspired theming.

I don't think they should bother with a fifth park just now, and instead go after Walt's pre-WDW idea of setting up a ski resort somewhere.

The "Knight Kingdom" and "Beastly Kingdom" (Beastly Kingdom being separate from AK) ideas are jokes. Same with the "Villain Park". I for one already think that WDW is too big. Adding a fifth, huge, not-well-themed park would be a big mistake.

If they do a 5th park I'm hoping for "Merchandising Land". It's so hard to find places to shop in their other parks.
